What exactly is a 'Credit'? Credits are the usage currency on Steno.ai. Text messages consume 3 credits each, and voice conversations consume 10 credits per minute. Each tier includes a monthly credit allowance. You're notified before you reach your limit — never shut off unexpectedly.
Can I offer a free trial or use a freemium model? Yes. Steno.ai's built-in monetization supports free trial periods and freemium models — offer limited text chats for free and gate voice access behind a paid subscription. You control pricing and access.
Can I monetize my AI Digital Twin? Yes. Built-in monetization lets you charge end users subscription fees to access your Twin. Steno takes a small platform fee (6–9% depending on your plan) on monetized revenue.
What happens if I go viral and hit my credit limit? Steno never shuts you off unexpectedly. You're notified as you approach limits and can opt for a seamless overage fee or upgrade your tier.
Do I need to pay for setup or implementation? No. Subscribe and get instant dashboard access to start building immediately. White Glove implementation is available for Enterprise plans only.
Is there a long-term contract? No. Standard plans are flexible with no long-term commitment. Annual billing saves up to 15%.

Do you have integrations with other platforms? Yes. Steno offers seamless Member Syncing with major platforms including Kajabi, GoHighLevel, and Mighty Networks, allowing you to whitelist existing customers and grant them instant access. Enterprise plans include 2-way CRM integrations and Plus SDK access for deeper integrations.
Can I white-label my AI Twin? Yes. White-label deployments present your Twin under your own brand without Steno branding visible to end users. Ideal for enterprise customers who want a fully branded experience.

Security & Privacy
Is my intellectual property safe? Yes. Your training data is never used to train models for other customers. It is used exclusively to build and run your Twin. You retain ownership of your content and IP.
Are end-user conversations private and anonymous? By default, yes. Conversations are stored against a generated user identifier that isn't linked to any personal information. If you use Identified Mode, you are responsible for disclosing this to your end users.
How does Steno.ai handle data privacy and security? All data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3), hosted on Microsoft Azure infrastructure. Conversations are not linked to personal information by default. Training data is never shared across customers. DPAs available for GDPR and CCPA compliance. Contact legal@steno.ai.
Is Steno.ai GDPR compliant? Yes. Data storage is not linked to personal information by default, with clear controller/processor roles, DPAs available on request, data rights support, and AES-256/TLS 1.3 encryption. Email legal@steno.ai for a DPA.
